My very first sewing project! I decided to buy a sewing machine and teach myself to sew when we were living in temporary housing after moving from Nashville to Kansas City. I thought, how hard can it be? All of my daughter's warm clothes were in storage and we weren't going to be closing on our house for another month so I decided I would teach myself how to make her dresses and skirts to wear as the weather got warmer.
